BUT!!! I am going to be doing my own little thingy every month. That will be the birthstone series

For each month i am going to do a design inspired by that months birthstone. This month (my birth month) is Garnet. I shall post that shortly after i figure out what design i want to do ^_^
If you have any ideas for me to try id love to hear them

Hats & Scarves Contest - Over! Judging soon.As both Pyro and I live in parts of the world that are starting to get cold, we've decided to make our theme somewhat seasonal -- Hats & Scarves!
Sample Doll :

You can enter a doll on any base, in whatever colors you'd like, dressed in any sort of clothes, from any setting. The only rules are that she must have on some kind of hat and some kind of scarf. We encourage you to do what you like with this theme, whether it be traditional, like Pyro's sample doll, or something a little bit more unexpected. Just be sure the scarf and hat are clearly visible.

One-Sentence, Autobiographical StoriesAs I mentioned in the prvious journal entry, :iconanyman82: ~ *anyman82 floated this concept and tagged me in the process. I don't generally do this sort ofthing, but I thought he format was very clever so I decided to give it a shot.
These nano-stories are all true and they all happened to me. The nature of recollection (especially at my age) makes many things seem as if they happened 'in the third person', so I decided to write some of these from that point of view.
For the most part I have tried to keep them to only one sentence, which has resulted in some pretty labored constructions. I hope my fellow pedants will cut me some slack in the name of artistic expression.

since the most famous one is over, Decembergirl and I were thinking about starting a new challenge on our own, a different one with new ideas

The weekly nail art challenges are just for fun so usually there are no winners. We do have a contest every month though therefore we always have a vote on that to decide who should win. At the end of every contest we post a vote now journal and all people need to do is leave a comment voting for their favourite design

I am really glad you are having fun with our challenges and hope you will continue to join in anyway as it really is all about taking part and showing off your skills xxxxxxxx

I thought that there would be no 'real' winner because there is no price. But isn't it difficult to take the most favourited design out of 20 weeks? Or can everyone 'vote' one design for every week? Because in 20 weeks are many many designs and sometimes you can't choose which is your favourite
